Consigning

Before consigning any items with any auction, you should understand that most, if not all, auctions are 'As Is' and 'Final' sales.  This means that by consigning, you are entering into a contract to sell the item to the highest bidder no matter the value of the bid.  Reserves can be placed on items, but this is typically reserved for exceptional items.

Most items are accepted for consignment, with the exception of damaged furniture and large rear projection and tube televisions. If you have any doubt, please contact us prior to bring the item to us.

When consigning, you will receive a consigner number.  This number will be used for your items for all auctions and will not change over time. You will receive a detailed inventory of the items consigned and the estimated date of the auction in which your items will be included. If your items will span multiple auctions, they will be securely stored at our facility.  You will be notified when your items are being sold and will receive payment after each sale. Most items will be sold in the same auction, unless they fall into one of our specialty auctions, in which case you will have an option to choose which you prefer.

Whether you are dropping items off or we are picking them up, items must be packed in a neat and secure way in stackable boxes or containers.

Dropoff

You can make an appointment to drop off items during one of our consignment events using our on-line signup.  If you can not attend one of our scheduled events, you can contact us or call to set up an appointment.

Pickup

All consignment pickups must be scheduled by calling our office. This will allow us to better prepare for your individual needs.  There is a fee for pickup that will be determined during the scheduling process. The fee is determined based on the specific resources required for your pickup.

At Your Location

When an entire household or large number of items at your location are being consigned, it is recommended to keep the item at their location rather than moving them to our facility.  This helps reduce costs and increase your profits. In these instances, we will come to your location, inventory the items, create lots and take photographs. Upon completion of the sale, buyers will schedule pickup at your location at agreed upon times and conditions.

Commission

Commissions are variable based on the final sale price of consigned items. In addition, we offer a scaled discount based upon the total value of all your consigned sales.

Our commission is to cover the costs of the full auction process including but not limited to

Unpacking, cleaning and display of items

Photographs that are clear and provide as much detail of the items as possible

Advertising - print, mailing, electronic

Auction Preview

On-line Platform - nationwide digital marketing, email/SMS notifications

Social Media - we employ most social media platforms to promote your items
